Not much......just training for a race thats in 2 weeks. This season here has been totaly shot this year, there is just barely enough snow to set a hook in on the trails, lots of races have been cancelled. Everytime we get some snow it goes up to the 30s the next day. I am hoping for a better season next year, either that or I am moving.

Not much here besides work and school.  I'm guessing it got slow again since winter break ended  :(  Anyway... we had plenty of snow around here until today, but I can't do any sledding because all the trails in my neighborhood park are blocked off by construction around a new retention pond     We've been meaning to work on some agility training, but first we have to go to the hardware store and get some more PVC so we can build some half-decent equipment.

ehh, i've been busy crazy like no other. that and my mom has been being a -insertnotverynicewordshere-, which has limited my time at home (and therefore, access to a computer) so that i don't have to deal with her. as for the dogs, been working on some hardcore heeling with Remy in hopes of being able to compete in obedience, come May. hoping to build myself a flyball box, too, and get into some of that.

Tons and tons of reading... Ovid's Metamorphoses and Chaucer for the most part. I'm horrendously behind, though we've moved on in the one class so I'm abandoning the Metamorphoses. Need to work through about 150 pages of Troilus whining in Middle English by Tuesday... ugh. I may not have much actual work as an English major, and the reading is for the most part enjoyable, but there's just so much of it!

By way of good news, I did a one day agility seminar with Queezle last weekend (feels so far away) and am going to a trial this weekend. Everyone cross your fingers for Flash finishing her Standard title :)

Fingers crossed :)  We've really got to get to work on our agility equipment so that we can actually practice once the snow melts.  I am SO ready for spring right now.  Winter has been really boring around here since we don't even have any trails to hike or sled on.  Without that, I really have no incentive to put up with winter.  Well, I guess the trees did look really pretty when it snowed last week, but aside from that... bleh.

I've got a ton of reading for my Spanish Lit class, too... well okay, it's not really that much compared to the AP Lit class I took in high school, but it still takes me forever to read because, well... it's in freaking Spanish

Krista, I'll be curious to see how the flyball box-building works out - I've thought about trying to make one myself, but I've always been too chicken to try it.  I've got a box on loan from my team right now, so if you want anything like measurements or pictures of the inside, just let me know.

Been busy with the final weeks of the quater. Im on a much needed break now, and will start a new batch of classes in 2 weeks! Other then that, not much, lol. Winter is still here, and amazingly we still have about 8" of snow on the ground. Next week is going to be really warm (almost 40!!) so it will all melt...fast. Sigh...it was fun while it lasted.

Well, Flash did her classic gorgeous runs and sailed over the dogwalk contacts. Sigh. Queezle got her second Excellent Jumpers leg though!

Well let's see, what's been going on around here... everything's been melting on and off for over a month. It doesn't really feel like Fairbanks it's been such a warm winter, and everyone said last year was warm!

Let's see... Ella's pretty much out of her puppy stage at 7 months old, though she still plays like one. Poor Stormy. :-) She's acting more and more like her mom, Molly, every day. Didn't get too many Will traits. This makes Keane very happy. :-)

Oh, what else, what else? Oh, yeah, Keane and I had a baby! :-) Amelia River was born on Valentine's Day at 7lbs 12oz. She's doing great and is totally adorable. Go future juniors! :-)

Congrats Sarah and Keane! Love the name, Amelia has always sounded beautiful to me. So then, how long will it be before she is driving her own team of dogs?

Aww, congratulations Sarah!  Glad to hear she's doing well :)

Not too much going on around here... we got some new agility equipment - a set of weaves and some jumps.  That's about it, lol.  The weather has been pretty gorgeous lately though (knock on wood... this is Wisconsin, so I don't wanna jinx anything).

Glad you finally told us lol!!! Love the name too :) Now we just need some pictures... :D

I am potentially winding down on my stud hunt for Queezle. No promises though because I've been saying that for, well, months, but I'm down to two dogs. I know which one I want but his owner is a little dodgy. The other one wouldn't be bad either. I've been driving myself insane with research (the first dog I was settled on went and moved to Germany...) and the only thing that has kept me from spaying Queezle and getting a cat is the thought of having little munchkins again :)

Queezle was bred this week to Poncho, who can be seen here: http://www.pbase.com/sunfiretervs/poncho_select_2010 Now we just play the waiting game until her ultrasound in a couple weeks!

Thanks! I am ~so~ excited. The plan is for me to keep a bitch and my mom keep a dog... though with the first litter I fell in love with a boy and she fell in love with a girl lol. My advisor was very confused by the classes I chose for the fall - I wanted the least amount of classes with at least an hour break between each one so I can let the munchkin out!

Still a week to go on the ultrasound, but Queezle has started refusing breakfast, which is hopefully morning sickness just like last time :)

I would be too! I miss having a puppy running around. You guys are going to have your hands full.

Oh, that's good news! As bad as morning sickness is, it's well worth it. :)
