If you're currently in college, what's your major? And where are you attending college?

I'm majoring in Graphic Design, not because I like it, but because it's one of the few fields where an artist can get a steady job.  And I'm minoring in Spanish, mostly just because I took it in high school and got a ton of free credits by testing into a high-level class (even though I can barely speak the language... go figure).

I'm attending UW-Milwaukee... pretty much because it's the only public 4-year college within driving distance of my house

Annie - wanna do my language requirement for me? I'm dreading it.

I am an English major at Cornell University... which I love despite the fact that everyone keeps assuring me I'll never get a job.

I'm an English major too, and I've heard that more than a few times too.

I'm attending thecommunity college about 20 minutes from my house, for Animal Managementthis fall, and for the 3 semesters following that. I'm super stoked, and I kind of want to take French & Photography in there as well.Right now I'm already in Graphic Design, I'm half day in high schooland the other half in a vocational school- of which the high schoolpays for. I'm kind of hoping I can become an animal trainer at the zooor something, someday, training wolves sounds fun. but I also plan onopening my own rescue... so where this all goes, who knows. haha.

Krysty - yay! We are few and far between :) My floor is mostly engineers, so I get all the English major jokes. Though English starts looking better when prelims roll around...

I'm a Journalism major at UAF and am absolutely loving it (although everyone knows newspapers are dying so I won't have a job either <grin>).

Currently majoring in photography, and loving every minute of it. I have plans to transfer to somewhere for journalism, and will hopefully love every minute of that. And I'm not worried about the failing newspapers, online media I think will surge beyond belief. Plus, there is always the photo aspect of it. Yeah sure, almost everyone has a camera. But, just because you have a camera doesnt mean you take good pictures. Gotta have techinque and style!

Physics is fun. Perhaps I am just a humongous nerd, but I find the sciences in general completely entertaining.
