Dog'ged Juniors

I believe I posted a topic for my dog Banshee who died a few years ago on the old forum, but that seems to be gone now..

Banshee was a Siberian husky who died in 2007 from old age.

And just a month ago I lost my other dog, Chance. He also died from old age.He was a German shepherd/Akita mix. He was such a good dog..

They were my sled dogs and meant a lot to me. But they're in a better place now, together again.

I'm sorry to hear that   I think I remember your dogs.  Was Banshee the husky who was still mushing at 14 years old?  I think I remember, because I also had a 12 year-old Siberian husky who was still running with me around that time.  Sadie ended up dying rather suddenly the next year, because she had cancer and didn't show any symptoms until it was too late to treat it.  It sucks   But at least they had good, relatively long lives, even though they never seem to live long enough.       

Yep Banshee was that old sled dog.

Sorry to hear about your Sadie.

Banshee had kidney failure and died from that. Chance died from.. dang we don't reaslly know. We think it was it heart.
